Missouri Employer Records Release Authorization is an agreement between an employer and an employee allowing the employer to access the employee’s records from their prior employers. This agreement outlines the specific information that the employer can access and the purpose of the request. It also outlines the responsibilities of the employee and the employer, as well as any applicable laws and regulations. There are two types of Missouri Employer Records Release Authorization; one for a “general release” and one for a “specific release.” A general release allows an employer to access records from any and all prior employers, while a specific release allows an employer to access information from only one prior employer.
