The North Carolina Application for Admission Pro HAC Vice is an application form used by a lawyer who is not a member of the North Carolina Bar Association to be admitted to practice law in a North Carolina court, on a pro HAC vice basis. This application is used to apply for a special permission, or a motion, to practice law before the court on a temporary basis in a case that has been filed in North Carolina. The Pro HAC Vice application must be approved by the court in order for the attorney to represent their client in the North Carolina court. There are two types of North Carolina Applications for Admission Pro HAC Vice: the General Application and the Limited Application. The General Application is used when the attorney is seeking admission in all North Carolina courts and the Limited Application is used when the attorney is seeking admission in one specific court. Both applications require the attorney to provide their personal information, including their contact information, bar admission information, and educational background.
