North Dakota Nonprofit Corporation Articles of Amendment are documents filed with the North Dakota Secretary of State's office that alter the Articles of Incorporation of an existing North Dakota Nonprofit Corporation. These documents must be signed by the president or vice-president of the corporation, and they may be used to amend the name of the corporation, change the purposes of the corporation, add or remove provisions of the Articles of Incorporation, change the number of directors, and/or make other changes to the Articles of Incorporation. There are two types of North Dakota Nonprofit Corporation Articles of Amendment: the Restated Articles of Amendment and the Articles of Amendment. Both documents are used to make changes to the Articles of Incorporation of an existing North Dakota Nonprofit Corporation. The Restated Articles of Amendment are used to completely revise the Articles of Incorporation, while the Articles of Amendment are used to make specific changes to the existing Articles of Incorporation.
