North Dakota Foreign Professional Limited Liability Partnership (LP) Registration is a process through which a non-U.S. based limited liability partnership (LLP) can register to do business in the state of North Dakota. The Registrar of State Corporation Commission, the North Dakota Secretary of State, is responsible for processing and overseeing the registration process. There are two types of North Dakota Foreign Professional Limited Liability Partnership Registrations available: 1) foreign limited liability partnership registration and 2) foreign professional limited liability partnership registration. The foreign limited liability partnership registration allows a foreign LP to register with the Secretary of State to do business in the state of North Dakota. The foreign professional limited liability partnership registration allows a foreign LP to register with the Secretary of State to provide professional services in the state of North Dakota. Both foreign LP registrations require the submission of an Application for Registration form, and the filing of a Certificate of Registration, and the payment of a filing fee. All documents must be submitted to the Secretary of State in order to complete the registration process.
