North Dakota CERT of NOT PRES ELECTORS USED BY CANDIDATES WHO CIRCULATED are a set of forms used by candidates in North Dakota who are running for the office of the President of the United States. These forms are used to certify the nomination of the candidate’s electors in the event the candidate is elected President. The forms serve as proof that the candidate has met the requirements of the state for the nomination and selection of electors for the presidency. The forms must be signed and notarized by the candidate, the electors, and the chairman of the state party to which the candidate is affiliated. The forms must be circulated and accepted by the state party and submitted to the North Dakota Secretary of State prior to the election. There are two types of North Dakota CERT of NOT PRES ELECTORS USED BY CANDIDATES WHO CIRCULATED: the “Affidavit of Nomination” and the “Certificate of Nomination”. The Affidavit of Nomination is used to certify the nomination of the candidate’s electors, and the Certificate of Nomination is used to certify the selection of the electors.
