North Dakota Absent Voter's Ballot Application-President Only-Former Resident is an application that allows eligible former residents of North Dakota to vote in the upcoming Presidential election. This application is only for the Presidential race and is for those who have moved out of the state but still wish to cast their vote. This application must be completed and returned to the appropriate county auditor in order to receive the absentee ballot. The North Dakota Absent Voter's Ballot Application is available in two forms: Standard and Simplified. The Standard form requires the voter to provide more information such as the voter's full name, address, and date of birth. The Simplified form requires only a signature and date of birth. Both forms require the voter to provide contact information and a signature. The voter must also provide a copy of a valid ID when submitting the application. Once the application is approved, the county auditor will then mail the absentee ballot to the voter.
