The North Dakota Charitable Annual Estimate of Certain Revenue and Expenditure (CARE) is a form used by charitable organizations to report their estimated annual revenue and expenses for the current tax year. This form is required by the North Dakota Office of the Attorney General. It is used to ensure that charitable organizations are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding their finances and to provide the public with information regarding their financial activities. The CARE is divided into two sections: the Estimated Revenue and Estimated Expenditure. The Estimated Revenue section includes information such as the total estimated revenue, the number of donors, and the estimated sources of revenue. The Estimated Expenditure section lists the estimated expenses for the current tax year, including the amount, purpose, and fund. There are two types of North Dakota Charitable Annual Estimate of Certain Revenue and Expenditure: the Standard Form CARE and the Supplemental Form CARE. The Standard Form CARE is designed for organizations with total estimated revenue of $25,000 or less, while the Supplemental Form CARE is designed for organizations with total estimated revenue of more than $25,000.
