It allows approved individuals to securely access and manage information stored in the state’s databases, such as court records, marriage and divorce records, criminal records, property records, and birth and death records. NEAR also provides access to vital records, such as birth certificates, death certificates, marriage licenses, and divorce decrees. There are two types of NEAR applications: the NEAR Public Portal, which provides access to public records, and the NEAR Internal Portal, which provides access to restricted records. Both types of applications are available on the web and through mobile applications.
