Nebraska Application For Certificate of Authority (To Transact Business — Foreign LLC) is an application form that is used by foreign Limited Liability Companies (LCS) to obtain a Certificate of Authority from the Nebraska Secretary of State, allowing the LLC to do business in the state. The application requires the LLC to provide information such as its name and date of formation, the state in which it was formed, the name and address of its registered agent in Nebraska, its principal office address, the names and addresses of its members and managers, and the purpose for which the LLC is being formed. The application must also include a copy of the LLC's Articles of Organization or Certificate of Organization, and a Certificate of Good Standing from the originating state.
