Nebraska Confidential Employment and Health Insurance Information (CHIP) is a set of programs and services offered by the State of Nebraska to provide confidential information on employment and health insurance to employers, employees, and prospective employees. CHIP includes the following programs and services: • The Nebraska Employment Status Report (NE SSR), which provides employers with detailed information on current and former employees in the state. • The Nebraska Job Search Assistance Program (NASA), which assists employers in finding qualified job applicants. • The Nebraska Health Insurance Benefits Program (NH IBP), which provides employers with health insurance benefits for their employees. • The Nebraska Workers' Compensation Program (NCP), which provides workers' compensation and other benefits to injured workers in the state.
