This document contains information about the defendant's rights and responsibilities under the Nebraska Domestic Violence Protection Act and must be signed by the defendant and provided to the court. The document contains information about the defendant's obligation to surrender any firearms owned or possessed; the right to be informed of available services for victims of domestic violence; the right to be informed of the availability of an interpreter; and an acknowledgment of the defendant's understanding of the contents of the document. There are two types of Nebraska Notice Upon Conviction of a Misdemeanor Crime Involving Domestic Violence (Vietnamese): one for a defendant convicted in a court of law, and one for a defendant who has pled guilty or no contest to a charge of domestic violence (Vietnamese).
