The New Hampshire LASER Program, or Leadership and Service Education and Resource Program, is a state-funded program designed to promote leadership and service within New Hampshire communities. It is based on the belief that effective leaders should possess both the knowledge and the ability to work with others to create positive change. The program has four phases that participants must complete in order to reach its full potential. The first phase is the Leadership Development Program, which focuses on developing leadership skills and understanding effective strategies for working with others. Participants learn about the core principles of leadership, how to create and use team-building strategies, and how to develop communication strategies for working with diverse people and groups. The second phase is the Service Learning Program, which encourages participants to use their leadership skills and knowledge to address real-world issues. Participants develop projects that serve their local community and take part in hands-on activities that help them apply the knowledge they have acquired. The third phase is the Action Planning Program, which helps participants develop a plan of action to address an issue they have identified in their community. Participants create and implement a plan of action that will promote positive change in the community and are encouraged to work with others to promote their plan. The fourth and final phase is the Evaluation Program, which encourages participants to evaluate their plan of action and make adjustments based on their findings. Participants learn how to measure the success of their plan and how to use their experiences to create more effective solutions in the future. The New Hampshire LASER Program is a valuable tool for developing leadership and service skills, and for promoting positive change in New Hampshire communities.
