A New Hampshire Affidavit of Impossibility is a legal document used to confirm that a particular task or action is impossible to complete. This affidavit is usually used in civil cases when an individual or entity is unable to fulfill a contractual obligation or perform an action due to extraordinary circumstances. There are three types of New Hampshire Affidavit of Impossibility: Impossibility of Performance, Impossibility of Obtaining Performance, and Impossibility of Procurement. An Impossibility of Performance Affidavit is used to demonstrate that a party is unable to fulfill their contractual obligation due to an unforeseen event, such as an act of God, death, or disability. An Impossibility of Obtaining Performance Affidavit is used to show that a party is unable to fulfill their contractual obligation due to the unavailability of goods or services. An Impossibility of Procurement Affidavit is used to demonstrate that a party is unable to fulfill their contractual obligation due to a lack of resources or other external factors. All three of these affidavits must be signed by two witnesses and notarized before they can be used in court.
