The New Hampshire Petition to Expunge is a legal process that individuals can use to have their criminal records permanently removed from public view. This includes arrest records, convictions, and other court records related to criminal proceedings. There are two types of New Hampshire Petition to Expunge: a Petition to Expunge a Criminal Record and a Petition to Expunge a Juvenile Record. The Petition to Expunge a Criminal Record is available to those who have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor and have completed all sentences, including probation and/or parole. The Petition to Expunge a Juvenile Record is available to those who were under 18 when they committed the offense and have completed all sentences, including probation and/or parole. Both types of petitions require the filing of an application, payment of a filing fee, and completion of additional forms and processes. If the petition is approved, the records are sealed and no longer visible to the public.
