The New Jersey Certification of Creditor Regarding Post Petition Payment History (Note and Mortgage) is a document used to certify the payment history of a borrower's note and mortgage following the filing of a petition for bankruptcy protection. This document is filed in the courts and serves as evidence of the borrower's payment history. It is used to help the court determine whether the borrower should be discharged from the debt. There are two types of New Jersey Certification of Creditor Regarding Post Petition Payment History (Note and Mortgage): the Voluntary Certification and the Involuntary Certification. The Voluntary Certification is used when the debtor voluntarily provides information regarding their payment history. The Involuntary Certification is used when the creditor is required to provide the court with information regarding the borrower's payment history, as requested by the court. In both cases, the Certification includes information such as the date of the bankruptcy petition, the payment history of the note and mortgage, and any other relevant information.
