New Jersey Order On Request For Exemption From Credit Counseling Financial Management Or Certification In Support of Discharge is a document issued by the Bankruptcy Court of New Jersey in response to a request from a debtor for exemption from the requirement to complete credit counseling and/or financial management course prior to filing for bankruptcy. The order grants the debtor an exemption from the credit counseling and/or financial management course and allows them to proceed with the filing of bankruptcy. There are two types of New Jersey Order On Request For Exemption From Credit Counseling Financial Management Or Certification In Support of Discharge: 1) Temporary Exemption and 2) Permanent Exemption. Temporary Exemption is granted to a debtor who has not completed the credit counseling and/or financial management course within six months of filing for bankruptcy. Permanent Exemption is granted to a debtor who has completed the credit counseling and/or financial management course within six months of filing for bankruptcy.
