New Jersey Notice of Intent to Request Redaction is a form that must be submitted when an individual wants to redact or conceal certain information from a document. This form is typically used in court proceedings, and it must be completed and submitted to the court in order for the redaction request to be considered. There are three types of New Jersey Notice of Intent to Request Redaction: (1) Redaction of Personal Identifying Information (PIN); (2) Redaction of Financial Account Information (FAI); and (3) Redaction of Sensitive Material (SM). Under the PIN redaction, the individual may request to have personal information such as name, address, phone number, social security number, etc. hidden or redacted from the document. Under the FAI redaction, the individual may request to have financial information such as bank account numbers, credit card numbers, etc. hidden or redacted from the document. Lastly, under the SM redaction, the individual may request to have sensitive material such as trade secrets, proprietary information, confidential information, etc. hidden or redacted from the document.
