New Jersey EEOC Complaint is a legal claim filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) alleging discrimination, harassment, or unfair treatment in the workplace. The complaint can be filed by any employee, former employee, or job applicant in New Jersey who believes they have experienced discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, disability, genetic information, or any other protected class. There are two types of New Jersey EEOC Complaint: a charge of discrimination and a request for reasonable accommodation. A charge of discrimination is filed when an individual believes they have been discriminated against in the workplace on the basis of a protected class. A reasonable accommodation request is when an individual requests changes in the workplace to assist with a disability or religious belief.
