The New Jersey Plea-03 Supplemental Plea Form for Sexual Offenses is a document used to supplement a plea agreement in cases involving sexual offenses in New Jersey. The form is designed to ensure that the defendant has been fully informed of the consequences of the plea and that it is being entered voluntarily and knowingly. The form is divided into three sections. The first section requires the defendant to acknowledge that he/she has read and understands the plea agreement and the terms of the plea. The second section requires the defendant to acknowledge that he/she understands the charges, the potential penalties, the consequences of conviction, and the waiver of rights. The third section requires the defendant to waive the right to trial and to enter a plea of guilty or no contest. There are two types of New Jersey Plea-03 Supplemental Plea Forms for Sexual Offenses: one for juvenile offenders and one for adult offenders.
