New Jersey 11394 — Accreditation of an Individual Course is an accreditation program of the New Jersey State Board of Education. This program sets standards for individual courses to be approved and accredited for high school credit. It is designed to ensure that students receive quality educational instruction and that courses meet the standards established by the New Jersey State Board of Education. There are three types of New Jersey 11394 — Accreditation of an Individual Course: 1) Traditional Course Accreditation; 2) Comprehensive Course Accreditation; and 3) Comprehensive Course Accreditation with Specialization. Traditional Course Accreditation is the most basic level of accreditation and is typically used for courses that are offered at the high school level. Comprehensive Course Accreditation is a more advanced level of accreditation and is typically used for courses that are offered at the postsecondary level. Comprehensive Course Accreditation with Specialization is the most comprehensive level of accreditation and is typically used for courses that are offered at the professional and/or graduate level.
