The New Jersey Civil Trial Attorney Certification Application — 2017 is a form that lawyers must submit to the New Jersey Supreme Court in order to be certified as a civil trial attorney in the state. This certification is awarded by the New Jersey Supreme Court Board on Attorney Certification to attorneys who demonstrate a substantial level of experience, knowledge, skill, and proficiency in civil law. The application process consists of three parts: a written application, an examination, and an evaluation by a panel of experienced attorneys and judges. There are two different types of New Jersey Civil Trial Attorney Certification Application — 2017: the Initial Certification Application, and the Recertification Application. The Recertification Application is for attorneys who have been previously certified as a civil trial attorney in the state of New Jersey and wish to renew their certification.
