A New Mexico Corporate Ownership Statement — Adversary Proceeding is a document that must be filed with the New Mexico Secretary of State when a complaint or summons is filed against a corporation in a judicial proceeding. This statement is designed to provide notice to the corporation that an adversary proceeding has been initiated. It must include the name of the corporation, the names of its officers, the address of the corporation, the names of the parties to the adversary proceeding, the name of the court where the adversary proceeding is being heard, and the case number. The statement must be signed and dated by a corporate officer, and must be accompanied by a certification fee of $25. If the corporation fails to file the New Mexico Corporate Ownership Statement — Adversary Proceeding, the Secretary of State will not accept any subsequent filings by the corporation.
