The New Mexico Statement of Suspension of Business (Nonprofit Corp) is a document that non-profit corporations in the state of New Mexico must file with the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission in order to suspend their business operations. This document must include the name and address of the corporation, the date of the suspension, the reason for the suspension, and the signature of an authorized representative of the corporation. Additionally, a copy of the suspension must be posted in the corporation’s place of business. There are two types of New Mexico Statement of Suspension of Business (Nonprofit Corp): temporary suspension and permanent suspension. A temporary suspension can be used for a period of up to 36 months while a permanent suspension is used when the corporation is permanently ceasing operations. Both types of suspension require the filing of the New Mexico Statement of Suspension of Business (Nonprofit Corp) document with the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission.
