The Nevada Seven (7) Day Notice to Pay Rent or Quit is a legal document used by landlords to inform tenants of their past due rent. It is a warning that if the tenant does not pay the amount due within seven days, they may be evicted. The notice specifies the amount of rent owed, the address of the rental property, and the date the tenant must pay the rent by. There are two types of Nevada Seven (7) Day Notice to Pay Rent or Quit: the Seven-Day Notice to Pay Rent or Quit and the Seven-Day Notice to Cure or Quit. The Seven-Day Notice to Pay Rent or Quit is used when the tenant has failed to pay rent. The Seven-Day Notice to Cure or Quit is used when the tenant has violated the rental agreement or lease in some other way (such as having unauthorized occupants, damaging the rental property, or engaging in illegal activity). In both cases, the tenant must either comply with the notice or vacate the rental property within seven days.
