The Nevada Notice of Early Case Conference is a document used to initiate a case conference where parties can discuss and negotiate a resolution before a court case is filed. It is also known as an Early Case Conference (ECC) and is a requirement under Nevada law (NRS 32,100). There are two types of Nevada Notice of Early Case Conference. The first type is the Notice of Pre-computing Early Case Conference (NPC ECC), which must be served on the opposing party at least 10 days before a complaint is filed with the court. The NPC ECC is used to allow parties to resolve their disagreement without the need to file a lawsuit. The second type is the Notice of Post-Complaint Early Case Conference (NPC ECC), which must be served on the opposing party at least 10 days after the complaint is filed with the court. The NPC ECC is used to allow parties to resolve their disagreement before a court hearing is scheduled. Both types of Nevada Notice of Early Case Conference require the opposing party to respond within 10 days and must include information about the dispute, the proposed resolution, and any proposed dates and times for a meeting.
