Nevada Administrative Order 2004-PR-1 (“Order”) is a set of regulations issued by the Nevada Supreme Court concerning the regulation of attorneys and law firms in the state of Nevada. The Order sets forth the minimum standards of conduct for attorneys and law firms practicing in Nevada, including rules regarding attorney advertising, record keeping, and attorney trust accounts. The Order also establishes the Nevada State Bar Association as the state's regulatory body for attorneys and law firms. The Order is divided into three main parts: Part I pertains to the general requirements for attorneys and law firms; Part II addresses the rules of professional conduct; and Part III sets forth the procedures for the discipline of attorneys. The Order also includes a number of supplemental orders which provide more specific guidance on topics such as attorney advertising, attorney trust accounts, and attorney discipline.
