Nevada MOTION FOR SATISFACTION of JUDGMENT is a legal filing made by a judgment creditor to the court to request that a judgment be satisfied, or fulfilled. This motion is typically used when a debtor has paid the judgment amount in full and the judgment creditor seeks to have the judgment officially declared as satisfied. The motion must clearly state the amount of money that has been paid to satisfy the judgment and must be accompanied by a Satisfaction of Judgment form. In Nevada, there are two types of Motion for Satisfaction of Judgment, one for money judgments and one for non-monetary judgments. For money judgments, the creditor must submit a Certificate of Satisfaction, signed by the debtor, which states that the judgment has been paid in full. For non-monetary judgments, the creditor must submit a Satisfaction of Judgment form, signed by the debtor, which states that the judgment has been satisfied.
