Nevada Letter for Essential Services — Guide is a document created by the Nevada Department of Employment, Training, and Rehabilitation (DEER). It provides guidance and direction to employers, employees, and the public on the definition of essential services in Nevada. The document defines which services are essential and which are not, as well as providing guidance to employers on how to determine which business operations are considered essential. There are three types of Nevada Letter for Essential Services — Guide: 1) Essential Business Operations; 2) Essential Critical Infrastructure, and 3) Essential Public Services. For each type of essential service, the guide outlines operational guidance, safety protocols, and other considerations. The guide also includes information about the state's reopening plan, as well as links to additional resources.
