The Nevada Request for Judge's Cone McCrea (Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act) is a form used to request a court hearing for the purpose of determining which state has jurisdiction over a child custody dispute. The form sets out the facts of the case and includes information about the parties involved, the nature of the dispute, and the state in which each party resides. There are two types of Nevada Request for Judge's Cone McCrea: the Initial Request for Judge's Cone McCrea and the Amended Request for Judge's Cone McCrea. The Initial Request must be filed within 30 days of the parties’ initial contact regarding the child custody dispute. The Amended Request must be filed after that initial 30-day period if any of the facts in the case have changed since the Initial Request was filed. Both types of Request for Judge's Cone McCrea must be filed in the state where the child custody dispute is taking place.
