A Nevada Notice of Hearing (Las Vegas) is a formal document issued by the court which sets forth the information necessary for a hearing to take place. This includes the date, time, and place of the hearing, the names of the parties involved, and the legal issue to be determined. It may also include the purpose of the hearing, the legal authority for the hearing, and any special requirements or procedures. There are two types of Nevada Notice of Hearing (Las Vegas): the Civil Notice of Hearing and the Criminal Notice of Hearing. A Civil Notice of Hearing applies to civil proceedings, such as disputes over contracts, claims of negligence, or family law matters. A Criminal Notice of Hearing applies to criminal proceedings, such as a criminal trial or sentencing hearing. Both notices contain the same basic information, but the Civil Notice may also include additional information such as the name of the presiding judge, the caption of the case, and the amount of damages requested.
