Nevada (87A) Cancellation of Foreign Limited Partnership Registration (NRS CHAPTER87A) is the process by which a foreign limited partnership registers to terminate its registration in the State of Nevada. The process requires the filing of a Certificate of Cancellation with the Nevada Secretary of State. The Certificate of Cancellation must include the name of the limited partnership, the date on which the limited partnership was registered with the Nevada Secretary of State, the name and address of the registered agent, and the signature of a general partner of the limited partnership. There are two types of Nevada (87A) Cancellation of Foreign Limited Partnership Registration (NRS CHAPTER87A): Voluntary and Involuntary. Voluntary Cancellation is initiated by the foreign limited partnership, while Involuntary Cancellation is initiated by the Nevada Secretary of State due to non-compliance of the foreign limited partnership. Both types of cancellation require the filing of the Certificate of Cancellation and the payment of any outstanding fees.
