A Nevada Nonprofit Corporation Reinstatement Packet (for entities filed pursuant to NRS Chapters 80, 81 and 82) is a packet of documents that must be submitted to the Nevada Secretary of State in order to reinstate a nonprofit corporation that has been administratively dissolved. The packet includes: a Petition for Reinstatement, a Certificate of Good Standing, a Certificate of Fact, an Application for Reservation or Renewal of Corporate Name, and the appropriate filing fee. Depending on the type of nonprofit corporation, there are two different types of Nevada Nonprofit Corporation Reinstatement Packets: 1. NRS Chapter 80 Nonprofit Corporation Reinstatement Packet: This packet is for entities that are incorporated under NRS Chapter 80, which are “domestic nonprofit corporations” that are formed to meet certain charitable, educational, religious, or social objectives. 2. NRS Chapters 81 and 82 Nonprofit Corporation Reinstatement Packets: This packet is for entities that are incorporated under NRS Chapters 81 and 82, which are “foreign nonprofit corporations” that are formed to conduct activities in Nevada that are similar to the activities conducted in another state.
