New York Additional Bar Application (Form: 70-AB-051013) is an application form for individuals who wish to become members of the New York State Bar Association. This form must be completed and submitted to the New York State Board of Law Examiners for consideration. There are two types of New York Additional Bar Application (Form: 70-AB-051013): the Graduate of Law School Application and the Attorney from Another Jurisdiction Application. The Graduate of Law School Application is for individuals who have completed their law school education in the United States or its territories. It includes sections for personal information, educational history, professional experience, and bar examination results. The Attorney from Another Jurisdiction Application is for attorneys who are currently licensed in another jurisdiction and wish to become a member of the New York State Bar Association. This application requires similar information as the Graduate of Law School Application, but also includes sections for information on any previous disciplinary action taken against the applicant.
