The New York Statement Pursuant To Local Bankruptcy Rule 1073-2(b) is a document that a debtor must file in order to obtain relief under Chapter 13 of the Bankruptcy Code in the state of New York. This statement is required to be filed with the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York and must include the debtor's name, address, Social Security number, date of filing, and a statement of the debtor's financial affairs. There are three different types of New York Statement Pursuant To Local Bankruptcy Rule 1073-2(b): (1) Statement of Current Monthly Income (Form B22C); (2) Statement of Financial Affairs (Form B10); and (3) Statement of Intent (Form B103). The Statement of Current Monthly Income is used to report the debtor's current monthly income and must be filed along with the petition. The Statement of Financial Affairs is used to provide the Bankruptcy Court with a detailed statement of the debtor's financial affairs and must be filed prior to confirmation. Finally, the Statement of Intent is used to indicate the debtor's intent to either surrender or reaffirm certain debts and must be filed within the time period established by the Bankruptcy Court.
