The New York Notice of Hard Copy Submission — E-Filed Case is used to inform the court that the case has been electronically filed, but the required hard copies of the documents have also been submitted to the court. This notice is used when an attorney or a party is filing a case in the Supreme Court of New York, Appellate Division. There are two types of New York Notice of Hard Copy Submission — E-Filed Case: Notice of Hard Copy Submission of Index Number Form and Notice of Hard Copy Submission of E-Filed Case. The Notice of Hard Copy Submission of Index Number Form is used when a person is filing a case with an index number, whereas the Notice of Hard Copy Submission of E-Filed Case is used when a person is filing a case without an index number. This notice must be filed within 14 days of the electronic filing. It must include the e-filed case number, the attorney's name and contact information, and the documents that were e-filed.
