New York Games of Chance Registration is the process of registering with the New York State Lottery and Gaming Commission to operate a game of chance business in the state of New York. There are three types of registration available: a Games of Chance Manufacturer/Distributor License, a Games of Chance Organization License and a Games of Chance Co-operative License. A Games of Chance Manufacturer/Distributor License allows the holder to manufacture, distribute, and sell games of chance equipment and supplies. A Games of Chance Organization License allows the holder to conduct and manage games of chance activities, such as bingo, raffles, and poker, for charitable or religious organizations. A Games of Chance Co-operative License allows the holder to conduct and manage games of chance activities for the benefit of members of an established co-operative. All applicants for New York Games of Chance Registration must submit an application, applicable fees, and proof of eligibility, such as an IRS-issued 501(c)(3) letter confirming that the organization is a charitable or religious organization.
