The New York Certificate of Resignation For Receipt of Process is a legal document which is used to record the resignation of an individual from an organization in New York State. This document is used to provide evidence of the resignation, and is typically filed with the Department of State, or other relevant governmental agency. The Certificate of Resignation is also used to provide notice to the public of the resignation of the individual. There are two types of New York Certificate of Resignation For Receipt of Process, each with different requirements for filing: 1. Certificate of Resignation for Corporations and Limited Liability Companies — This type of Certificate of Resignation is required for resignations of officers or directors of corporate entities.
