Oklahoma Noncompliance With Placement Agreement is an agreement between a child placing agency (CPA) and the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) that outlines the responsibilities of both parties in the placement of children in foster care. This agreement is intended to ensure that the best interests of the child are met and that the CPA is following all applicable state and federal laws and regulations. The agreement specifies the rights and responsibilities of both parties, including the CPA's responsibility to provide all necessary services, support, and follow-up to ensure the safety and well-being of the children in their care. There are two types of Oklahoma Noncompliance With Placement Agreement: a corrective action plan (CAP) and a corrective action agreement (CAA). A CAP is issued when the CPA fails to comply with the placement agreement and is used to identify and address the problem. A CAA is issued when the CPA has not corrected the problem after the CAP has been issued and is used to enforce the agreement and ensure that the CPA is complying with all terms and conditions.
