Oklahoma Sexual Abuse/Exploitation of Children — Elements is a law which criminalizes the sexual abuse or exploitation of children. The law defines three types of sexual abuse/exploitation: Sexual Abuse, Sexual Exploitation, and Human Trafficking. Sexual Abuse includes any act of sexual contact or sexual intercourse with a minor, regardless of the age of the perpetrator. It is considered a felony, and can result in a prison sentence of up to life in prison. Sexual Exploitation includes the production, distribution or possession of child pornography, as well as the use of a minor in prostitution. This is also a felony, and may result in a prison sentence of up to life in prison. Human Trafficking includes any act of transporting, harboring, or obtaining a minor for the purpose of exploitation, including but not limited to labor and prostitution. This is a felony, and may result in a prison sentence of up to life in prison. Oklahoma Sexual Abuse/Exploitation of Children — Elements is meant to protect minors from sexual exploitation and abuse.
