Oklahoma Resisting the Execution of Legal Process — Elements is a criminal offense that occurs when a person intentionally prevents an officer from executing a legal process that has been authorized by law. It is composed of three elements: (1) the defendant must resist, oppose, impede, or obstruct an authorized officer; (2) the officer must be executing a legal process; and (3) the defendant must have knowledge that the officer is executing a legal process.
