Oklahoma Malicious Mischief-Introduction is a state law that prohibits certain intentional acts that damage or interfere with the property of another person. This law applies to both private and public property and includes such acts as vandalism, graffiti, arson, and destruction of property. The law also covers a variety of related activities, such as theft, burglary, and criminal mischief. There are three types of Oklahoma Malicious Mischief-Introduction: Felony Malicious Mischief-Introduction, Misdemeanor Malicious Mischief-Introduction, and Infraction Malicious Mischief-Introduction. Felony Malicious Mischief-Introduction involves intentionally and maliciously damaging or interfering with the property of another person, resulting in an estimated loss of more than $1000. Misdemeanor Malicious Mischief-Introduction involves intentionally and maliciously damaging or interfering with the property of another person, resulting in an estimated loss of less than $1000. Infraction Malicious Mischief-Introduction involves intentionally and maliciously damaging or interfering with the property of another person, resulting in an estimated loss of less than $25.
