Oklahoma Certification of Notice to Plaintiff re: Attorney Fees (CV-25) is a form used in Oklahoma civil court cases to inform the plaintiff that the defendant intends to seek an award of attorney fees. This form is typically used when the defendant has prevailed on the case and is now requesting fees to be paid by the plaintiff for the defendant's attorney. The different types of Oklahoma Certification of Notice to Plaintiff re: Attorney Fees (CV-25) are: CV-25A, CV-25B, CV-25C, and CV-25D. CV-25A is used when the defendant is seeking fees for attorney fees and costs; CV-25B is used when the defendant is seeking fees for attorney fees and costs, as well as expert witness fees and costs; CV-25C is used when the defendant is seeking fees for attorney fees and costs, as well as expert witness fees and costs, and other costs; and CV-25D is used when the defendant is seeking an award for fees for attorney fees and costs, as well as expert witness fees and costs, and other costs, but is not seeking an award for damages. The form must be filed with the court and served to the plaintiff.
