The Oklahoma Application for Accelerated Docket (AAD) is a program designed to expedite the processing of civil cases in the state of Oklahoma. This program is administered by the Oklahoma Supreme Court and provides an accelerated process for civil cases to be heard in the Oklahoma Supreme Court and/or Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals. There are three types of AAD applications: 1) Fast-Track Application, 2) Accelerated Docket Application, and 3) Expedited Appeal Application. The Fast-Track Application is for cases that have been identified as having a high likelihood of success and a low potential for harm to the opposing party. The Accelerated Docket Application is for cases that require a quick resolution and could be heard by the appellate courts within a few weeks. The Expedited Appeal Application is for cases that require an expedited review and resolution by Oklahoma's appellate courts. All AAD applications are subject to review by the Oklahoma Supreme Court and must meet certain criteria in order to be approved.
