Oklahoma Request For Address of Record (ORAL) is a state-mandated process that requires local governments to proactively provide address records to Oklahoma’s Department of Emergency Management (OEM). ORAL is designed to ensure that all locations in the state have accurate and up-to-date address information for emergency response and public safety purposes. There are two types of ORAL requests: 1) Initial Requests, which are used to gather new addresses that have not been previously reported to OEM, and 2) Update Requests, which are used to update existing address records.
