Oklahoma Child Support Services (CSS) is a division of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services that helps ensure families receive the financial support they need to care for their children. CSS is dedicated to helping children receive the financial support necessary for their health, welfare, and well-being. CSS works to ensure that both parents contribute financially to the support of their children, through court-ordered child support orders. CSS offers a variety of services to families, including: • Establishing paternity: determining the legal father of a child and establishing a child support order. • Locating absent parents: finding parents who are not paying their court-ordered child support. • Collecting current and past due child support payments: collecting and disbursing child support payments. • Modifying or enforcing child support orders: helping to modify court-ordered child support payments when necessary. • Offering medical support services: ensuring that children receive necessary medical care. • Providing referral services: referring families to other community resources. • Co-parenting services: helping parents develop effective parenting plans. • Financial literacy services: providing financial education to parents and children.
