The Oklahoma Order of Adjudication Committee Notes are documents created by the Oklahoma Tax Commission that contain information regarding the adjudication of tax-related matters. These documents contain information such as the amount due or owed, the type of tax, the date the tax was due, and the date of the adjudication. There are three types of Oklahoma Order of Adjudication Committee Notes: (1) “Final Order— – issued when the Tax Commission determines that the taxpayer has failed to comply with the state tax laws; (2) “Proposed Order— – issued when the Tax Commission proposes a determination, but the taxpayer has the right to request a hearing to dispute the proposed order; (3) “Order on Hearing— – issued after a hearing has been conducted and the Tax Commission has determined the taxpayer’s tax liability. All Oklahoma Order of Adjudication Committee Notes must be signed by a Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
