The Oklahoma Certificate of Readiness (OCR) is a document issued by the Oklahoma State Department of Education (ODE) that certifies a student is ready for college-level coursework. The OCR is valid for all levels of college-level courses, including those offered at two-year and four-year colleges and universities. The OCR is obtained through a series of tests administered by the ODE, which assess a student's academic preparedness and readiness for college-level coursework. There are three types of Oklahoma Certificate of Readiness: the Core Academic Skills Assessment (CASA), the ACT-WorkKeys, and the ACT-Compass. The CASA evaluates a student's reading, writing, and math skills, while the ACT-WorkKeys and the ACT-Compass measure students' college-level academic knowledge and skills. All three tests must be successfully completed to obtain an OCR.
