Oklahoma Verification of Permanent Total Disability (LTD) is a document issued by the Oklahoma Workers' Compensation Commission (WCC) that is used to verify an individual's permanent total disability. This document is used to prove that an individual has a permanent total disability and is unable to work due to an injury or illness. There are two types of Oklahoma Verification of Permanent Total Disability: Medical and Vocational. The Medical LTD is issued when an individual has a medical condition that is so severe that it prevents them from performing any type of work. The Vocational LTD is issued when an individual's physical or mental condition is so severe that, even with reasonable accommodations, they are unable to perform any type of work. Both types of LTD require that an individual submits medical documentation to the WCC in order to be approved for this benefit.
