Oregon Administrative Procedures for Electronically Filing Case Documents (OAP-EF) is a set of regulations that govern the submission of documents related to legal proceedings in the state of Oregon. The OAP-EF enables parties to file their case documents electronically, rather than in paper form, with the court. The OAP-EF includes the filing of pleadings, orders, motions, judgments, briefs, and other documents. The OAP-EF applies to circuit court, appellate court, and tax court proceedings. The OAP-EF consists of two types of procedures: General Procedures and Electronic Filing System Procedures. The General Procedures provide an overview of the process for filing documents electronically, including requirements for electronic signatures, filing deadlines, and verification of electronic filings. The Electronic Filing System Procedures provide details on specific systems used to electronically file documents, including Oregon court Case Information Network (OACI) and the Oregon State Bar’s Online Filing System (OSB-OFS). The OAP-EF is intended to improve the efficiency of filing case documents with the court, simplify the process of filing documents electronically, and improve the accuracy of court filings. It also provides additional security measures to protect confidential information in court proceedings.
