Oregon Satisfaction of Money Award is an award program available in the state of Oregon to recognize individuals who have paid their debts in full. There are two types of awards available: the General Satisfaction of Money Award and the Special Satisfaction of Money Award. The General Satisfaction of Money Award is available to anyone who has paid all of their debts in full, regardless of when they were incurred. The award is a certificate of recognition that can be used to demonstrate to credit providers, potential employers and other third parties that the individual has a history of good financial management. The Special Satisfaction of Money Award is available to individuals who have paid all of their debts in full within the last twelve months. This award is more prestigious and can be used to demonstrate a commitment to financial responsibility over the long-term. Both awards are administered by the Oregon Department of Revenue and can be applied for on their website. The process for both awards is the same and requires individuals to submit proof that all of their debts have been paid in full. Once approved, the award will be mailed to the applicant for display.
